14 New Member Properties Add 3,700 Rooms In Six Months
Summit Hotels & Resorts has further strengthened its global portfolio and increased its capacity by 3,700 rooms, with the addition of a stunning new range of properties.
A total of 14 new properties have been welcomed by Summit Hotels & Resorts, a brand of Preferred Hotel Group, in the last six months alone. This expansion is significant because it establishes brand presence in California for the first time, substantially increases its foothold in Tokyo and designates the first Summit golf resort in Italy.
The recent additions to the internationally acclaimed collection of properties include: Palmerston Etna Golf Resort & Spa in Sicily, Italy; myhotel Bloomsbury and myhotel Chelsea in London; Eden Hotel La Bergère in Maastricht; the Il Lugano in Fort Lauderdale; The Bel Air in Cancun, Mexico; The Grand Pacific and Hotel Pacific hotels in Tokyo; Pheasant Run Resort & Spa in St Charles, Illinois; Westlake Village Inn in California; the Ambassador East in Chicago; the Casa Andina Private Collection Miraflores in Lima, Peru; The Parco dei Principi in Sorrento, Italy and The Legacy Hotel, Maryland, USA.
The addition of each of these distinctive properties demonstrates Summit Hotels & Resort’s valuable role as a trusted brand for authentic travel experiences in the world’s top destinations. As a business partner, Summit is also delivering great performance, with member hotels enjoying 20% growth in overall revenue through the brand in 2007.

myhotel Chelsea – London, England
myhotel Chelsea is a chic haven of peace, located on a quiet residential

Eden Hotel La Bergère – Maastricht, Netherlands
The beautiful historic facade hides a fantastic 73 room hotel. Its interior

the trendy Wijck district, only 250 meters from Maastricht Central Station

Il Lugano – Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA
Located on the inter-coastal waterway in Fort Lauderdale's beach district,
the hotel is minutes from the famous Beach Place shopping district, pristine

105 room hotel offers a state of the art fitness centre, a private hotel
boat – il Lugano –, as well as private boat slips, and will soon open

The Bel Air Collection Hotel Spa – Cancun, Mexico
This recently restored unique minimalist hotel is the perfect hideaway
for a unique romantic holiday experience in a exclusive resort located
right on the beach of the Mexican Caribbean in Cancun. The 156 room hotel
offers guests a choice of three eateries – Azure for Mediterranean and
fusion grill, Sushi Bar and the Barefoot snack bar.
Grand Pacific – Tokyo, Japan
Overlooking Tokyo Bay, Le Méridien Grand Pacific Tokyo is one of the largest

bars. Grand Pacific will join Summit Hotels & Resorts in May this
year - and is just minutes from central Tokyo.
Hotel Pacific – Tokyo, Japan
Set amidst the frenetic commotion of the glorious city of Tokyo, Le Méridien
Pacific Tokyo sits among acres of serene gardens. Perched in front of
Shinagawa station and only fifteen minutes from Tokyo’s world-renowned
