I Prefer™ Guest Benefit Program Reaches Enrollment Milestone and Launches Decadent New Collateral Campaign

Preferred Hotel Group’s™ Guest Benefit Program Climbs to 110,000 Members; Tempting New Collateral Denotes Personalized Guest Benefits

CHICAGO – (March 12, 2008) – “About 10 minutes after we got to the room we received a bottle of champagne and a fruit basket.”

“I had an I Prefer™ card and was upgraded without asking to a premium oceanfront room.”

Preferred Hotel Group’s global guest benefit program I Prefer, which debuted in 2006, has surpassed enrollment projections once again, reaching a milestone of 110,000 members. The program’s success can only be attributed to the many positive guest experiences like those reported above. Loyal guests are being rewarded with exclusive benefits at participating hotels throughout the world – benefits that create a personalized travel experience for each I Prefer member.

To further illustrate the benefits of I Prefer membership, Preferred has unveiled a new collateral campaign which features a decadent, individual cake, symbolizing the I Prefer guest’s personalized travel experience. The collateral showcases a rich, dark chocolate-frosted cupcake adorned with silver decorations. The cupcake represents the hotels and the silver decorations symbolize the benefits that I Prefer brings to the travel experience like exclusive offers, priority check-in and late check-out, upgraded amenities, special events, complimentary high-speed Internet access (available at most locations), and unique guest recognition.

I Prefer benefits apply every time a member stays at a hotel within the Preferred Hotel Group, including Preferred Hotels® & Resorts, Preferred Boutique™, Summit Hotels & Resorts™ and Sterling Hotels™. These are enhanced by additional benefits extended to members by the individual hotels – ranging from complimentary dinners for two to spa treatments to sought-after exhibition tickets.

Enhanced guest recognition is a major factor behind I Prefer’s rapid growth, and the perks offered by individual hotels play a major role in creating a welcome that conveys warmth and familiarity. These ‘Local Hotel Benefits’ capitalize on each hotel’s unique appeal and are extended to I Prefer members who book their stay through a Preferred Hotel Group brand website or on the hotel’s own website.

Among the current local offerings are a complimentary dinner for two and bottle of Champagne at the Savoy Resort, Madeira Island in Portugal. Two Swiss member hotels offer spa treats: the Park Hotel Vitznau is extending a $50 discount on spa services while the Hotel Angleterre and Residence offers complimentary access to the spa at its sister resort, the Beau-Rivage Palace. At Paris’ Hotel Lumen,
I Prefer
guests enjoy a one-hour Seine cruise, while the Egerton House Hotel in London provides tickets to special exhibits at the Victoria & Albert Museum.

In the Americas, I Prefer members enjoy a complimentary 15-minute cromotherapy spa treatment at the Bel Air Collection Cancun Hotel; a complimentary logo tote bag with a shirt, hat and two insulated tumblers at the Ginn Hammock Beach in Florida’s Palm Coast; and a seasonal bottle of Chateau Elan wine plus a complimentary winery tour and tasting at Georgia’s Chateau Elan Winery & Resort.

In Asia, the Landmark Bangkok automatically confers VIP status on all I Prefer guests, welcoming them with beautiful flowers and succulent local fruits in their room upon arrival in addition to room upgrades and more.
